Did you know that the Manila International Book Fair traces its history back to 1975?

Over the decades, MIBF has grown into an important gathering for the Philippine book and publishing community, bringing together publishers, booksellers, authors, educators, readers, and other literary organizations.

Preparing for the Inaugural 2027 Life Book Awards

The Life Book Awards was created to recognize Christian books that do more than entertain or inform. We want to celebrate books that point readers toward Christ, encourage faithful Christian living, and leave a meaningful spiritual impact.

As we prepare for our inaugural 2027 awards cycle, connecting with authors, publishers, readers, and members of the publishing community is an important part of that journey.

MIBF gives us an opportunity to discover the people and stories behind the books.

Life Book Awards Will Visit the NBDB Booth

Our MIBF visit will also mark another meaningful milestone for Life Book Awards.

On September 12, 2026, we plan to visit the National Book Development Board (NBDB) booth to claim our Certificate of Registration.

For a young awards organization preparing for its inaugural cycle, every step matters. From establishing the organization and developing our judging standards to building relationships within the publishing community, we are grateful to see Life Book Awards gradually move from an idea into something tangible.
